This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Ship It Lite collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website or services you acknowledge this policy.

1. Who we are

Ship It Lite (formerly Ship It LAX) is a pack, ship, and mailbox rental business located in Inglewood, California. In this policy, "Ship It Lite," "we," "us," and "our" refer to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. This policy covers our website, our online quote and reservation forms, and the personal information we handle when you use our in-store and mobile pickup services.

Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact details in the final section.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you request a shipping quote, schedule a pickup, or reserve a mailbox, we collect:

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and business name if provided.
  • Shipment details: sender and recipient names, delivery and pickup addresses, package dimensions, weight, contents description, declared value, and carrier selection.

  • Analytics: help us measure site traffic and usage in aggregate. Off unless you turn them on.
  • Marketing: used to measure advertising and show relevant offers on other sites. Off unless you turn them on.

Non-essential scripts do not load until you accept the matching category. You can change your choice any time: . We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you accept marketing cookies. We share information only as follows:

  • Carriers: shipping carriers receive the sender, recipient, and package details needed to deliver your shipment.
  • Service providers: payment processors, hosting, email and SMS delivery, and analytics vendors that act on our behalf under contracts limiting their use of your data.
  • USPS: mailbox renters' PS Form 1583 information is provided to the United States Postal Service as federal regulations require.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ship It Lite, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy or give you notice of changes.

6. Data retention

  • Quote requests that do not become shipments: up to 12 months.
  • Shipment and transaction records: up to 7 years for tax, accounting, and carrier claim purposes.
  • Mailbox rental records, including PS Form 1583 and ID copies: for the life of the rental and afterward for the period USPS regulations require.
  • Website analytics data: up to 26 months.

When information is no longer needed we delete it or de-identify it.

7. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to staff who need it, and locked storage for paper records and identity documents.
